Storytelling for Australia’s no. 1 natural skincare range

At Lumeo, we love telling great stories. And Sukin’s story - from their humble beginnings in suburban Melbourne, to pharmacy staple - is one worth telling.

Lumeos’s brief was to produce an explainer video detailing Sukin’s background, what it does and what it stands for. We decided to run with one of the brand’s guiding mantras: “skincare that doesn’t cost the earth”. The explainer video conveys that Sukin products care for the health of its customers and the health of the planet, while delivering value for money. These are some of the reasons the brand has become loved and trusted by so many glowing devotees.

The video combines illustration and photomontage in a way that brings out the organic qualities of the Sukin brand. We started with a light and rustic textured background, bursting over lots of lush green and floral imagery using brushstroke transitions and watercolour finishes.
